Description
The SCS Series CNC mills are designed to bridge the gap between the MR Series routers and the SMC Series miniature machining centres.
Rigidity is increased compared with the MR Series routers, allowing precise aluminium parts to be machined with confidence. Working mild-steel grades is also possible, at the cost of a greatly reduced feed rate.
Its ground cast-iron frame ensures high robustness and vibration absorption suited to metal machining.
The 2.2 kW / 24k RPM spindle can handle precise parts with small-diameter tools as well as heavy roughing passes on non-ferrous metals. Cooling is liquid to preserve its performance and longevity.
The 600x900x200 mm work envelope lets you process bulky parts or several small parts in a single batch.
Parts are held using a T-slot table. Accessories are available on request.
A tool coolant pump is included with the machine, along with its tank.
